How Are A Few Conspiracy Theorist Causing More Harm Than Good RE: NWO Conspiracy

There are many webmasters and bloggers online asking "Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?" (Who guards the Guardians?). Unfortunately, with truly independent,? indomitable investigative journalists and Social commentators being thin on the ground, a significant amount of this traffic is being directed to NWO Conspiracy theorists and New Agers.
    
Over the last 18 months, the greed of a few at the cost of many has been brought to the forefront. Tales of corrupt politicians make the papers almost on daily basis leaving the general population feeling like victims and unguarded against the Guardians. What is frustrating? is that the type of people who claim the tenacity and fearlessness to be worthy of watching and warning against the Watchmen have instead chosen the glamour of fantasy.
    
The extreme and fantastical nature of conspiracy is considered it's greatest strength and theorists will often cite the infamous Goebbels quote: "If you tell a lie? big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it".
    
Online, there is a mountain? of corroborating information regarding conspiracies. Hundreds of articles, blog posts, videos, interviews, technological evidence and expert opinions reflecting the collective months that these investigators have spent piecing their puzzle together.
    
Conspiracy theories read like a cross between Alan Moore's Comic book series Watchmen, and John Carpenter's They Live. I feel the majority of theorists seem less concerned with? factual truth as much as their itch to announce "I told you so".
    
But, if these individuals, including the egotists and the? hysterics, had instead focused their energies on actively guarding our Guardians, perhaps the current financial crisis wouldn't have caught the general public as off guard
    
These investigators claim a drive for? the truth and act unshakable in their cause, but for all their efforts, the powers-that-be are not quaking in their boots. After everything, the Watchmen are still, on the whole, being left to their own devices.
    
Despite their intentions, the misplaced focus of these Conspiracy theorists only serve to further encourage the public into escapism and apathy? at the World around them. This is causing more harm to the Public than a manufactured race of Alien invaders ever could.
