The political sovereignty of the world, at that time in Babylon, the head of gold, was to pass to others and then to still others until at last the sovereignty of the God of heaven would replace the powers of the whole world. The Stone Kingdom will be an everlasting Kingdom which shall never be destroyed, said Daniel. It will fill the whole earth and stand unchallenged for ever and ever.

King Nebuchadnezzar bowed before Daniel into a reverent worship, recognizing that Daniels God was  the God of the universe. He said, “of a truth it is, that your God is a God of gods, and a Lord of Kings, and a revealer of secrets.” Daniel 2:47. Daniel was made “regent over the whole province of Babylon and chief prefect over all the wise man of Babylon.”

Think of this young Chaldean king, master of a great empire, bowling reverently in worship because of what had been revealed to him. Is the author has not listening same kind of reverent. response in our hearts as we review this prophecy? We are 25 centuries removed from the scene, and the stone Kingdom which will replace the Kingdom’s of the world is about to be established. The oath that Kingdom of Glory were to be ushered in now, would we be ready? Could we take our place as citizens of heaven, members of the family of God? If not then let us settle that question right now.
